What is Internal and External Overflow?

0

Recent changes in the UK Water Regulations has meant that cistern fittings can be either the conventional ‘external’ overflow, where the pipe comes from the cistern and out through the external wall, or a more European style of ‘internal’ overflow, where overflow water flows back into the pan. All cistern fittings supplied by Heritage Bathrooms include all the elements you need to enable you to install either system, except for Ravoque, Portique and the Belmonte Corner Cistern, which are internal overflow only.
