A. IVC is technology which allows for full visual and verbal two-way interaction between multiple sites at a distance, using a combination of phone lines. Q. What is meant by “Teleconference” A. It sometimes becomes confusing when an event is advertised as a “Teleconference”. Most “Teleconference Events” refer to Satellite downlinks, which is only a one-way media system. The participants just watch the TV screen and have no interaction with the presenter. IVC is complete interaction. Questions and comments are exchanged live and displays can be shown and shared by all sites simultaneously. The word “Teleconference” can be used in both scenarios but is generally referred to for Satellite events. Q.
