What is “intelligence information”?
Intelligence information, often not differentiated from intelligence data, is any information or data under the purview of the DNI. It is the product resulting from the collection, processing, integration, analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of available information concerning foreign countries or areas, or, information and knowledge about an entity, often an adversary, obtained through observation, investigation, analysis, or understanding. This designation could also be applied to metadata about the information (e.g., system name, location, system mission).
