What is intelligence? Getting good grades and having a degree, or being worldly-wise and having common sense?
I was once at one of those team building meetings and we were playing a game of moving yes/no to each others questions. Someone asked us to move to who had a degree and who didn’t. Only two of us moved to no degree. A later question was who earns under 15,000 and who earns over the same pair of us moved to over and some people said jokingly “dang it I knew I shouldn’t have gone to college they are the intelligent ones” Later I got two degrees because I really enjoyed the space to learn and I hated my job. So I think it is probably intelligent to use your mind in a self enhancing way to give you pleasure and help you along and not jump though hoops for other people.
