What is Insulation Resistance Test?
Insulation resistance test and DC withstand test are very similarity, apply DC voltage (50~1000V) to two points of connecting for judging good and no good product. Insulation resistance test is nondestructive test and can detect if insulation is good. In some regulation, do insulation resistance test firstly then withstand test. When insulation resistance test can’t pass usually withstand voltage test also can’t pass.
