What is inside in the Direct Methanol Test Kit?

0

The FiderisTM Methanol Test Kit includes four subsystems: methanol supply, thermal management, air feed, and electronic load. The methanol subsystem includes an external methanol reservoir, computer controlled circulation pump, in-line methanol heater and in-line methanol cooler. In addition to the methanol heating and cooling, the thermal management system includes temperature input of the methanol and of the fuel cell. A switched receptacle may be used to control heating elements on the fuel cell for additional heating capacity. The air feed system includes a low pressure switch, an inlet solenoid valve and computer controlled mass flow controller to supply air to the DMFC. Finally, the electronic load provides up to 100 Watts of power dissipation with an exchangeable shunt.
