What is infrared and specifically Far-Infrared Rays?
Infrared is a form of invisible electromagnetic radiation that exists between the wavelengths of 0.76 micron to 1,000 microns(between microwave and visible light wave). Infrared ray is a low frequency and low energy radiation that provides us the essential heat to keep us warm. It is further divided into Near, Medium and Far-Infrared Rays. Near, Medium and Far-Infrared Rays ranges from 0.76 to 1.5 microns, 1.5 to 4 microns and 4 to 1,000 micron respectively. Extensive biological research has shown that Far-Infrared Rays are the safest and most beneficial to human body because of its capabilities to provide us its therapeutic and tissue regenerative properties when we absorb the energy.
