Industrial Management includes highly organized modern methods of carrying on industrial operations, especially manufacturing; or it simply means the act of getting people together with appropriate facilities and equipment to accomplish desired goals. Management comprises leading, planning, organizing, resourcing, and controlling an organization. Resourcing encompasses the deployment and manipulation of human resources, financial resources, technical resources, and natural resources. Towards the 21st century, industrial management consists of five separate branches, namely: Human resource management, Operations or production management, Strategic management, Marketing management and Financial management.
