This first release of WebSphere preview technologies for Windows contains the newest version of Java 2 technology, version 1.3, XML 3.01, and implementations of industry standard security APIs: Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) 1.2.1, Certificate Management Protocol (CMP), Public Key Cryptography Standards (PKCS), Secure Multi-Purpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME) , Java Secure Sockets Extension (JSSE), and of course the Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS).
