For each gene, a set of four SureSilencing™ shRNA Plasmids is provided, each with a different pre-designed shRNA sequence for the same gene. A negative control shRNA plasmid is also provided that encodes and expresses an shRNA sequence that does not match anything in the relevant genome. Each plasmid contains a beta-lactamase (bla) expression cassette, enabling the transformation and amplification of these plasmids under ampicillin selection. Complete sequence information is also provided for the plasmid and each shRNA upon purchase.
