Any time you order an item, whether it’s online or via mail order, you will be charged a shipping and handling cost. “Shipping” is the cost of delivery via a shipping courier, such as the Postal Service, FedEx, or UPS. This is the price we pay to a Third Party to have your package delivered to your door. That is not a free service to us and its cost is passed on to you, without the large retail price attached to it. “Handling” is the cost of processing each order by pulling specific items off the inventory from a manufacturer’s warehouse to fill orders. We then package the order, regardless of what size or shape and process the order for shipping (which may include sorting and filling out electronic forms). Finally, we send out the package to our Shipping Center.
