Anything that the charterer wishes to purchase ashore is at the charterer’s expense. Diving, if available from the yacht you’ve decided upon, is often a small extra fee. Some dive gear rental may be required, again at guest expense. Any time the charterer wishes to berth the yacht in a marina or at a dock rather than anchor, is an additional expense on the charterer’s account. Outside the Virgin Islands, bar beverages are often not included in the charter fee, and are extra.
