What is included in the Behavioral Sciences Department services?
Every service the Behavioral Sciences Department offers will be tailored to the needs of your organization. Typically, most services will include one or more members of the Behavioral Sciences team conducting an in-person interview with the person in question in order to obtain crucial behavioral information that cannot be obtained over the phone or by file review alone. Review of collateral data, such as personnel files, criminal and civil legal records, medical and mental health records, etc., psychological testing, use of classification tools, and interviews with witnesses or other persons involved also may be included in the process. The Behavioral Sciences Department will provide your organization with a written report that you can reference when making your employment decision. Lastly, if needed, the Behavioral Sciences Department can educate your organization as to what you can do in the future to prevent potentially threatening and/or damaging employment situations.
