What is included in the Basic Coverage package?
This coverage only provides insurance for the employee. As of September 1, 2012, it consists of the UT Select medical plan, $20,000 term life insurance and $20,000 accidental death & dismemberment insurance. Full-time employees receive this coverage automatically and part-time employees must enroll within the first 31 calendar days of benefits eligible assignment. Adding dependent coverage or optional coverage must also be done within the first 31 calendar days of benefits eligible assignment.
