What is INACAs goals in Industry Support?
“To identify and articulate common industry positions and support the resolution of key industry issues”. INACA is pro-active in supporting joint industry action essential for the efficient development of the air transport system. INACA’s role is to identify issues, help establish industry positions and communicate these to government. The examples below are typical of this activity: Infrastructure: is the word used to denote the elements of the air transport system not directly supplied by the airlines themselves – airport terminals, taxi-ways, runways, access roads and ATC systems. Broadly, the level and nature of infrastructure supply is decided by governments. Since demand for air transport doubles about every ten to fourteen years and many elements of infrastructure take ten or more years to plan and build, it is vital to maintain a dialogue with governments that secures an adequate future supply.
