What is in store for the winners?
The fun of actually participating and singing in a portion of the Karaoke World Championships contest. Perhaps some bragging rights too. Half of the total fees collected will go to the winners (which may include any KWCUSA contest event.) Our aim is to provide the Adult winners with travel expenses needed for competing. We hope regional and state hosts will do likewise with any additional awards made by them. For all participants we will put a blank certificate of participation online for downloading and printing. (Bring it to the contest and have your host fill it your name and sign it.) Other award certificates will also be posted online and may be given out by the hosts to winners. Contest sponsors and venues may also choose to award additional prizes. We are looking into creating a scholarship as an award for the younger divisions but until this is created, these prize funds (50% of fees) will be used to purchase merchandise we feel is appropriate as an award such as audio gear or
