What is in cat tin food?
Many pet owners feel guilty about feeding their cat or dog on tinned food, as if it was somehow inferior to real meat. In fact, any vet will tell you that pet food companies spend a fortune every year on research so that their food provides an ideal diet for the pets, with exactly the right balance of proteins, fats and vitamins. Most cat foods contain meat products, some cereal filler, and added vitamins and minerals. Buy a good quality food and you won’t have any problems, except that cats are fussy and usually prefer one brand over another. Also in my experience they get bored with the same brand and you need to rotate 3 or 4 brands to keep them happy.
