What is in-bond Konnyaku flour?
In-bond processing is a tax-free system for processing raw materials imported from overseas. It was initiated by the Japanese government to prompt foreign trade. Imported raw materials are processed in certified facilities and then exported without incurring import tariffs. We are currently the only company in Japan which has been licensed to process and export in-bond Konnyaku flour. This monopoly license and our ‘State of the Art’ equipment, make it possible for us to provide cheap and top quality Konnyaku flour, by processing Chinese Konnyaku potatoes without paying high tax.
