It is illegal for any UNC student under the age of 21 to possess, sell, distribute, or consume alcohol anywhere on campus or off. Possession of a fake ID is also illegal. It is illegal for any UNC student 21 or older to provide an underage person with alcohol. It is also illegal to have an open container of alcohol on campus or in many public venues.
