What is iLinc and how do I use it?
ILinc Web conferencing is a technology that allows participants to communicate more effectively over the internet. It is a useful distance learning tool for meetings, presentations, education, and training events. It is a virtual environment that allows participants to display PowerPoint slides and Web sites, share documents, and interact with other participants much as you would in an in-person learning event or meeting. Audio communication for use with iLinc occurs by teleconferencing. The use of iLinc is in partnership with the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice (NWCPHP), University of Washington. To access information about the use of iLinc, log into SmartPH, navigate to Collaboration Center (2nd Floor). Click on iLinc.
