What is IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and how does it affect ASDB?
This federal law which is reauthorized every few years by the US Congress is the foundation of special education law in the United States. It explains the rights and responsibilities of public schools, parents and special education students. An annual notification of parent rights and responsibilities is given or sent to parents at least once annually to inform and remind parents of their rights under the law.
