What is ICA Global Human Resources Development Committee ?
ICA Global Human Resources Development Committee November 1998 The ICA Global HRD Committee is a specialised committee of the International Co-operative Alliance. It aims to promote and support the initiation and furtherance of HRD programmes within co-operatives and co-operative organizations at global, regional, national and local levels, so as to enhance their social and economic effectiveness. The Global HRD Committee seeks to serve as a flexible network linking all those concerned with HRD, including existant and emerging networks. It will further the exchange of experience, materials, personnel, etc. among its members. It will facilitate regional networking and will seek to bring the regional networks into effective contact with each other. It will organise HRD-focused workshops and discussions at ICA General and Regional Assemblies. The committee operates on a self-sustaining basis.
