What is hydrogen electrolysis ?

Hydrogen electrolysis is nothing but a modern day application of an old science known as ‘electrolysis’. We all have read about electrolysis in junior school, this is exactly what ‘hydrogen electrolysis’ is all about. It is a process of running electricity through water to break water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen atoms. This process of hydrogen electrolysis is carried out in HHO generators that are installed in your cars. These generators consist of two electrodes one is positively charged and the other negatively charged. This process follows the law of attraction, ‘opposites attract’. During the process of electrolysis the hydrogen atoms get attracted to the cathode (negatively charged electrode) while the oxygen get attracted to the anode (positively charged electrode). At some stage in the process, these molecules burst into a gaseous state. The resultant gas is known as HHO gas. After this, the HHO gas that is formed through the process of hydrogen electrolysis is sucked int
