What is Huancayo like?
Huancayo is a bustling market town in the Central Peruvian Highlands that is home to over 250,000 people. Many farmers and artisans from the surrounding villages come to Huancayo to trade. Huancayo is in the Mantaro Aalley and is a town filled with hills and countless mountain views. The town center is dense with shops and paved streets while the rest of the Huancayo is rural.
