What is HSBC OptiPay?

0

OptiPay is a new and innovative product brought to you by HSBC, which provides multiple rewards and payment options on a single card: Debit links to a consumer’s checking account at any US bank, without the need for the consumer to change their existing bank checking relationship. Rewards provide access to earned rewards funds at the point of sale via the card. The card sponsor determines which rewards/payment options will be available for customers to choose from, the customer may elect which options to enable on the card, and the cardholder chooses which payment method to use at the point of sale to pay for their purchase (debit or rewards). Purchases for goods and services can be made by swiping the card and signing the purchase receipt or entering your Personal Identification Number (PIN) at the point of sale to authorize the purchase. When a debit purchase is made, the purchase amount is deducted from your checking account and the transaction is recorded on your bank statement. Op
