HPQ stands for “High Performance Quality”. It is a designation given to a special grade of steel that Stahlwille uses in the production of tools to meet the most demanding requirements. Aerospace, and gas turbine repair, are the proving grounds for these tools. HPQ has special qualities not found in other manufacturers products. • No cadmium. (very important when working on titanium fasteners.) • HPQ is a type of “spring steel” and has 1/3 times more load carry capacity than standard tool steel. • Very thin walls on box ends. (no grinding necessary to fit into tight places.) Stahlwille standards apply to all HPQ product. • Dimensionally very accurate. • Consistent dimensions. • Designed to exceed specified tolerences of SAE and MIL. • ISO9001 quality certification.
