What is home schooling / home education?
Well, first, it is NOT school at home. Second it is NOT Correspondence School. Third, it is NOT supplementary tutoring. Fourth it is NOT where students are enrolled in a school but exempted from attendance for disciplinary and similar reasons. All of these groups have some things in common with home schoolers, and may find help on this site.
Home school defines the choice a parent makes to educate a child at home instead of sending that child to a more traditional educational institution. Home school can come in the form of unschooling (or student led studies), unit studies, school at home, or even travel studies. The only limits to the way education can be discovered are the limits of the imagination and maybe the check book.
