What is holdover tenancy?

If you remain after your 30-day notice and then you are a “holdover tenant”. If a tenant requests to extend the 30-day notice, tenant must notify Estey Real Estate to get an acceptance. If the property has a new tenant moving in, an extension may not be possible. If an extension is possible, the tenant must submit another 30-day notice with the new vacating date. The tenant is responsible, per day, for rent on the extended days. Rent must be paid at the time of the request.
