Breaking/B-Boy (Break Boy or Girl) is a combination of Top Rock and Uprock which are mainly seen in standing positions whereas the six-step, freeze, and flare are mainly groundwork. Popping is a dance style with the intent of simulating a shock or a popeffect when the popper is dancing to a particular rhythm which is mainly seen in standing positions. Locking is a dance style with the intent of simulating a lock of the arms and various wrist rolls and funk moves.
