What Is Hinsdale Central Dance Company?
HCDC provides opportunities in dance for freshmen thru senior year students. Dances are taught, choreographed, and performed for the annual show by dance company members. Members also learn a variety of dance styles and techniques through workshops and guest instructors. The annual show incorporates all forms of dance: classical ballet, stylized tap, jazz, creative dance, lyrical, hip hop, and much more. Interest meeting in November, Try-outs in December. Mission: The Companys mission is to make dance accessible to the widest possible audience and to create new dances using a variety of dance styles.
