Hill Tribe silver also know as Thai silver, originates in northern Thailand where tribe members use traditional tribal methods passed down from generation to generation to make hand-crafted beads and pendants. The silver content in Hill Tribe silver is typically 95-99%, even higher than sterling (92.5%). Its high silver content makes the metal softer and therefore easier to shape into intricate designs.
