What is High Speed Internet – DSL?
DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is an always-on Internet connection that uses a regular telephone line to the house. Comparing DSL to dialup, DSL is faster (10-15x), is always on (doesn’t need to connect each time), and you can use your telephone at the same time you are using the Internet. There are many types of DSL, the most common is ADSL which is Asymmetrical. This means it’s download capacity is greater than it’s upload capacity. Your Nsight DSL connection is an ADSL connection.
