What is HGH and why is it important?
Human Growth Hormone, or HGH, is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland. HGH is responsible for regulating all of the other hormone levels within your body and is the most important hormone in the prevention of the aging process. As you age, your pituitary gland starts to decrease the amount of HGH it produces. By the time you reach age 60, your pituitary gland is only producing approximately 20 percent of the HGH levels you had in your early twenties. As your HGH levels decline, much of your body’s youthful vitality declines as well, resulting in wrinkled skin and a decrease in energy levels and sex drive.
