What is Heliocentric Astrology?
Popular and Traditional Astrology is based on birth charts with the Earth at the center. For this reason, this form of astrology is referred to as GEOCENTRIC astrology, because the Earth (geo) is at the center (centric). Heliocentric Astrology uses astrological charts drawn where the positions of the planets are based on the Sun being at the center. The term “helio” is derived from the Greek word “helios” meaning the Sun. Heliocentric simply means the Sun at the center. Heliocentric Versus Geocentric Astrology Almost all Traditional and Popular Astrologers have one thing in common: they share a distinct distaste for Heliocentric Astrology and simply disregard it. We believe this is due primarily to the fact that virtually all of the tools of Traditional and Popular astrology are missing in Heliocentric Astrology.
