What is hedge fund?
Hedge fund is mostly for institutional investors as the minimum investment amount is usually much higher. In general, a hedge fund manager is looking for absolute return (positive return) by doing both long and short strategies. By shorting, we called it hedging the portfolio, the fund manager is able to minimize the loss by shorting index or stocks or futures.
