What is Hearth Fuel?
Hearth fuel is a gel made from fermentation grade ethyl alcohol (ethanol). Ethanol, made by the fermentation of corn, is a clean-burning, renewable energy source. Fire Designs developed Hearth Fuel specifically for indoor and outdoor fireplace applications. It produces random, dancing crackling flames that provide all the sights and sounds of a traditional fire without the smoke, ash, flying embers or clean up.
