What is Heart Rate Variability (HRV) testing and how is it significant to the MM treatment methodology?
Heart Rate Variability testing has been used by the medical and scientific communities for decades. It measures beat to beat variations over a specific time period. The more each beat is slightly different in time from the preceding beat the better your general health. Greater variation in heart rate is indicative of a healthy autonomic nervous system (ANS). ANS is the body’s kind of automatic pilot which controls body functions that we do not consciously have to think about such as blood pressure, pulse and breathing. When Heart Rate Variability is in a zone designated as unhealthy it more often than not means the autonomic nervous system or body organs are infected or have toxic deposits. HRV testing is used to determine if a specific treatment was effective. If a treatment is targeted correctly, the HRV will improve immediately after the treatment.
