What is Heart-Rate Variability?
Heart-rate variability is a measure of the beat to beat changes in our heart rate as it speeds up and slows down in different patterns. These heart rate changes are influenced by almost anything that the mind and brain process such as our thoughts and sounds, but most importantly are influenced by our emotions. Heart Rate Variability Training has been found helpful as an intervention in relieving illnesses such as CFIDS, chronic pain, hypertension, fear, anxiety, anger, depression and other stress related difficulties.
