What is Health Professions?
Health Professions is a broad field of study (excluding physicians, nurses, dentists and podiatrists) that prepares students to be an integral part of any healthcare organization. The allied health professional trains with cutting-edge technology to assist physicians as they diagnose and treat patients. Most important, allied health professionals use critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork skills developed through intensive classroom-based and clinical experience to aid patients during crucial examinations and procedures.
