Microsoft will continue to support the SMS Installer for customers who have been using it as a repackaging tool but have no current plans to update the functionality beyond what the SMS Installer currently provides. For advanced repackaging tools, customers should look to the AdminStudio 6.0 SMS Edition, or the full AdminStudio 6.0 Professional Edition.
