Nova Scotia Agricultural College employees will be covered by the same pension plan in the years ahead – the Public Service Superannuation Plan (PSSP). NSAC’s transition to a separate entity will NOT affect any aspect of your pension. If you contribute to the PSSP now, you remain eligible for a public service pension whenever you retire. It makes no difference if you retire before or after the College devolves. The Nova Scotia Agricultural College Act deems NSAC employees to be civil servants for the purposes of the pension plan.
