What is happening to my My eAddress domain?
When you originally created your personalized email address (e.g. you@yourname.com) through the My eAddress program, AOL registered the domain name (yourname.com) you chose. As current owner of the domain, AOL controls where, when and how this name is used. We have decided that it is in the best interest of our users to give you control of the domain you created through the program, and are working with a company called eNom to arrange for a domain name transfer. In other words, AOL will transfer ownership of your selected domain name to you, enabling you to use it in other places on the Web and to create your own Website.
