What is hacking and what are hackers trying to get from me?
Hacking is illegal and wrongful network activity whether it be defacing web sites or illegally accessing private networks. For the most part, it is unlikely anyone would want to hack into your PC for reasons other than to use it for other illegal activity, as it would successfully hide the intruders real identity. Although as mentioned above, the more commercial PC users are targeted, there are instances where some users have had hackers maliciously and apparently without cause damage their system and files however.
