There is one system used solely for backup and recovery. The entire system is set for backup on a daily basis and backs up to the stand-alone systems hard drive each night. The system hard drive is capable of holding an entire month of backups before overwriting the oldest file. In addition to the backup, the system also performs a backup to tape. The tape is removed on a daily basis and stored in a safety deposit box.
