What is Gum Tips?
The Society publishes a quarterly newsletter, Gum Tips and everyone who has adopted of one of our koalas has access to a copy as well as all of our members. This is a lighthearted newsletter meant to entertain as well as be informative. There are general reports from the President and Hospital Supervisor. The Hospital Supervisor also does an article on koala diseases or koalas in general. Then there are usually some fun stories about happenings that have occurred,telling tales of events that have happened since the last issue. There is also a Hospital Report listing all of the koalas that have been admitted during that period, what they have been admitted for and what has happened to them e.g. released, died, euthanased etc. This newsletter has proved to be very popular with our recipients who look forward to receiving it each quarter.
