GTV6 is the government access cable channel for the City of Glendale, California. How is GTV6 funded? GTV6 is funded by cable subscribers via a small fee on their monthly bill. In addition to live coverage of the City Council and nearly all board and commission meetings, GTV6 covers a variety of City-sponsored events throughout the year and produces a range of original programs designed to better inform and familiarize the community with city departments and the services they provide. We also provide an internal video production service to other city departments by producing training videos, documentation and duplication. How long has GTV6 been operating? The City of Glendale began limited live cablecasting of City Council meetings in February 1995.
