Group advising is an information session that provides program requirements for the following: General Studies,teacher preparation program admission, Pre-Student Teaching, Michigan State Testing, Professional Core Classes, Majors & Minors, Student Teaching, and Certification & Graduation. You do not have to sign up in advance to attend a session. All students with the exception of those majoring in Physical Education or Special Education must attend a group advising session before you can make an appointment with an individual adviser in these areas. http://www.emich.edu/coe/oas/postbac/gradvise.
