What is Grainger’s position on environmental, health and safety issues?
It is the policy of the Company to provide a safe and healthy workplace for its employees and to conserve the environment. Grainger adheres to applicable governmental environment, health, and safety regulations. Our policies and procedures set forth the course of action we will take in order to meet our responsibilities. The Vice President, Administrative Services (an officer of Grainger) and the Director, Environmental Health and Safety Programs are responsible for implementing and enforcing such policies. Managers and supervisors at every level are responsible for providing a safe work environment and ensuring that employees are properly trained in all aspects of their duties.
