what is Google Chrome?
Google Chrome is a web browser, like Internet Explorer. It’s currently still in its early stages of life, so there are still bugs (such as crashing allot on certain PC’s). It’s a very simple browser, so if you want any level of customization go for something like Firefox. Google Chrome may be slightly faster than Firefox at some tasks, but I would say Firefox is the best all-round, everyday, browser. They are both free, so just download them and see which one you like best! Google Chrome: http://www.google.co.uk/chrome Firefox: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox… ………………………………….. Note — Google Chrome has nothing to do with Google Search. What they mean by “a faster way to search” is that it is fast at loading webpages. …………………………………..
Google Chrome, an Internet browser designed by Google, Inc., is one of the newer additions in the competitive Internet browsing market. For years, the Internet browser genre of software was dominated by Microsoft with its flagship Internet Explorer. However, since 2000, more Internet browsers have been appearing on the market for free, challenging Microsoft’s dominance.
Google Chrome is an open source web browser developed by Google. It was engineered from scratch (using components from other open source software including WebKit and Mozilla Firefox) to cater for the changing needs of users and acknowledging that today most web sites aren’t web pages but web applications. Design goals include stability, speed, security and a clean, simple and efficient user interface.
