What is good showing condition?
The house should be clean and free from clutter. If carpets are more than 4 years old or stained, it is often wise to replace them. Walls should be clean and bright or freshly painted. Everything should be working properly and be looking as new as possible. Keep the yard trimmed and looking nice so that you have good street appeal. Your real estate agent should be able to go through the house with you and provide you with observations or a list of things to take care of.
